BARBADOS
Barbados is the most eastern of the Caribbean islands, 34 km. long and 23 km. wide, with a total population n of 255000 people.
The island is comparatively flat, densely populated and is protected by coral reefs especially on the South and West coast. Barbados is known as The Little England of the Antilles, because it was a zone of English influence for a period of 399 years.
The capital Bridgetown has a picturesque harbor and a duty-free zone. The climate is characterized with comparatively low air humidity, not typical for the tropics.
