SIGHTSEEING TOUR OF AUSTRALIA
Day 1. Departure form Sofia at 14.00 with British Airways. Arrival in London at 16.00. Departure from London at 21.35.
Day 2. Arrival in Sidney at 05.15. Upon arrival in Sidney you will be welcomed by a representative of Thomas Cook / South Pacific Tour Planners. Transfer to BOULÅVARDE HOTEL. Overnight.
Day 3. Sidney. Breakfast. A tour of Sidney, including the North and South part of the harbor and the beaches with visit of the park Waratàh Wildlife. Cruise with lunch around the beautiful Sydney harbor. Overnight in Sydney - Boulevarde hotel.
Day 4. Sydney. Breakfast. In the morning – visit the national park Ku-ring-gai. Getting acquainted with the life of the aborigines and visit of a typical aborigine village. Lunch. Transfer to the hotel in Sydney. Overnight - Boulevarde Hotel.
Day 5. Sydney/Canberra/ Melbourne. Breakfast. Early in the morning – transfer to the airport and flight to Canberra. A sightseeing tour of the capital of Australia. Lunch at a sheep farm. Late in the afternoon – a flight to Melbourne. Transfer to SHERATON VISTA HOTEL. Overnight.
Day 6. Melbourne. Breakfast. In the morning – free time. Around lunch time - a bus tour through the Victoria district to the Philip island – home to a colony of rare species of penguins. You can watch the night parade of the penguins at dawn, when they come out of the sea and pass through the beach to their home. Late in the evening – return to Melbourne. Overnight at SHERATON VISTA HOTEL.
Day 7. Melbourne - Adelaide. Breakfast. In the morning – a sightseeing tour of Melbourne. In the afternoon – transfer to the airport and flight to Adelaide. Transfer to hotel ADELAIDE TRAVELODGE. Overnight.
Day 8. Adelaide. Breakfast. Excursion to the Barossa Valley, where the highest quality of grapes are grown. There you will taste the famous Australian wines. Return to Adelaide. Overnight in Adelaide Travelodge.
Day 9. Adelaide/ Ayres Rock. Breakfast. Transfer to the airport and flight to the resort complex Uluru / Ayres Rock/, named after the name of the most famous monolith rock in the world, located nearby. In the afternoon – a trip round the rock massive “ Olgas”, named after the queen Olga. Return to Ayres Rock. Overnight - OUTBACK PIONEER HOTEL.
Day 10. Ayres Rock /Alice Springs. Breakfast. In the morning – climb the pick of Ayres Rock. A look around its foundation and its interesting drawings and caves. In the afternoon – departure by bus to Alice Springs. Overnight in hotel TERRITORY INN.
Day 11. Alice Springs. In the morning – departure by bus to the bushmen’s camp and meeting with the local population. Aborigine breakfast with a typical bushmen’s tea ( “Billy” & “Damper” ). Getting acquainted with the way of life of the aborigines, their rites, religions, believes. Transfer t o Alice Springs. Overnight in hotel Territory Inn.
Day 12. Alice Springs / Carnes Breakfast. Transfer to the airport and flight to Carnes. Overnight in the resort city Carnes at hotel BAY VILLAGE.
Day 13. Carnes. Breakfast. Departure by bus from the hotel to the Pacific resort of Port Douglas and trip by the catamaran “ Quicksilver” to the “Big barrier reef”. A look around the reef “Aguincourt” ,and scuba diving for those who want to dive. Lunch on the catamaran and return to Port Douglas. Departure to Carnes. Overnight in hotel Bay Village.
Day 14. Carnes. Breakfast. Free time for sun bathing and sightseeing of the city. Overnight at hotel Bay Village.
Day 15. Departure from Carnes. Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Flight from Carnes to Sidney. Departure from Sydney at 15.30
Day 16. Arrival in London at 05.50.Departure from London at 08.30. Arrival in Sofia at 13.40.
